What happens at the end of my lease term?
A 60-day written notice is required prior to the end of your lease term, whether you plan to renew or move out. This means we must receive notice at least 60 days before your lease expiration date. If proper notice is not provided, or if a renewal agreement is not signed before your lease ends, the lease may convert to a month-to-month agreement at the current market rate plus any applicable month-to-month premium. We encourage residents to contact the leasing team well in advance of their lease expiration to review renewal options and avoid any unexpected charges.
What happens if I need to break my lease early?
We understand that circumstances can change. Residents are required to provide a 60-day written notice and pay a lease termination fee equal to two months’ rent, or continue paying rent until the unit is re-rented, not to exceed the original lease term. Additional terms and conditions may apply, so please refer to your lease agreement for complete details. Our leasing team is also available to answer any questions and help guide you through the process.
What should I expect at move-out?
At move-out, each apartment is professionally cleaned and carpets are serviced to prepare the home for the next resident. These standard cleaning costs are deducted from the security deposit, as outlined in the lease agreement. Residents are responsible for removing all personal belongings and returning the apartment in good condition, less normal wear and tear.
Any damage, excessive cleaning, or repairs beyond normal wear and tear that are necessary to return the home to rent-ready condition may result in additional charges. Any final utility balances may also be deducted from the security deposit. For complete details regarding move-out procedures and security deposit handling, please refer to your lease agreement or contact the leasing team.
